Mort Weiner is a nationally recognized leader in the insurance industry. He began selling insurance in Southern California in 1946 after returning from four years in the Army during World War II. While in the Army, Mr. Weiner graduated from Temple University as a Radar Engineer and reached the rank of Captain. He has been involved in virtually every aspect of the industry, from Independent Agencies to Chairman and CEO of insurance companies. He also served as president of two Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Weiner has a B.S. degree from Towson State University and completed UCLA's Graduate School of Business Executive Management Program. He has lived in South Florida since 1971.
Jeff joined the agency upon completing college in 1985. Jeff supervises all insurance operations including underwriting, sales, marketing and management. He is a graduate of American University and a former research analyst at the Brookings Institution think tank. Jeff received his first insurance training at a major Lloyd's of London Broker. “Our mission is to assist customers in determining the most suitable insurance products to fit their individual needs, provide the finest quality insurance product selection and service available. Henry Godwin began his insurance career in 1974. He served as an underwriter and marketing manager of one of the largest property and casualty insurance companies in the industry. He joined Morton D. Weiner & Co. in 1986 to head up the personal lines department. He coordinates marketing, human resources, planning, automation, excess and surplus lines, and claims. Henry has an undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida and graduate studies from Nova University in Human Resource Management. “Our edge is service. Larry Lehman joined our agency in 1989, coming from a large international insurance brokerage firm. Larry has served as an underwriter, agent and agency manager. He applies his vast insurance knowledge to managing the Commercial Lines Department. Larry is a producer of some of the agency's largest accounts as well as the office manager. He received his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University.
Dale Clarke joined us in 1988. He has developed extensive expertise in every aspect of insurance and insurance management. Dale is the agency's source person in finding coverage for hard-to-place risks. He is our expert insurance technician. Dale earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami in 1969.
Isabel has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. She holds an Asociate of Arts Degree from MDCC. Isabel joined the agency in 1982. She uses her extensive accounting expertise to oversee the firm's financial operations.
